Transaction Officer

As the Transactions Officer you will be the first point of contact for all transaction queries with both internal and with external stakeholders. You will acquire a broad understanding of all aspects of the business with a primary focus on suspicious transactions. Your key areas of responsibility are

(1) responding to incoming cases from external parties

(2) addressing these cases in a timely and professional manner aiming for the best possible outcome

(3) assist in providing updates & reporting to partners.

To address suspicious transactions cases in a timely manner which includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing professional customer service at all times
  • Accurate record keeping across different platforms
  • Efficiently time manage and prioritise tasks

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to cases raised by our clients, other financial institutions or the police in a timely & professional manner
  • You will build strong relationships internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Client Services Manager to improve processes
  • Provide excellent client service with the best possible outcome

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Excellent communication skills which allow you to build and maintain trust

2. Customer service experience essential

3. Some familiarity with finance and/or payments platforms highly desired

4. Ability to respond to queries in a professional and independent manner

5. Demonstrated attention to detail

6. Excellent Microsoft Office skills

7. Ability to work both collaboratively and individually

8. The right to live and work in Australia

9. Desire to contribute to a small but growing team, including refining internal processes
