What do you like most about working at Monoova and the fintech industry?
Tech and finance are ever-changing industries; the combination of the two creates an industry that is fast-paced, agile and responsive. You often wear many hats when working in a fintech, so it’s a great way to dive into new opportunities and responsibilities

New business models, latest trends and new challenges are always just around the corner so there’s rarely a boring day at work! Monoova offers flexibility when it comes to working hours, as well as opportunities to try new things and this is also further encouraged in our culture.

Payments can be quite a dry topic, over the last year what have you learned about payments that has surprised you?
The complexity and interconnectedness of global payment systems can be surprising. With so many different currencies, payment methods, and regulations, navigating international payments can be challenging and often requires specialized knowledge and expertise. It’s also important to embrace the element of change in this evolving industry.

What is your favourite part of your role?
I always measure the success of my work through the positive impact I leave on the company’s goals. I’m especially motivated when I think of how many people I can help through my work. I believe that making a product or a service more efficient allows me to interact and help teams internally to get the job done but also knowing that the impact of my role goes beyond those teams to reach people who benefit from the product and work with it daily.

Most memorable moment at Monoova?
Getting recognition for my work and contributions from our CEO, Christian Westerlind Wigstrom.

Favourite way to spend a day off?
Go out, eat out and work out.
