Payroo is a digital payroll platform that automates payroll processing and compliance, helping businesses pay their staff accurately, stay on top of tax and comply with Single Touch Payroll (STP) requirements. Payroo has partnered with Monoova to provide one-click payroll to Australian businesses and offer NPP real-time payments such as PayID and PayTo as well as direct debit.

Before using Monoova, employers would download their ABA files from Payroo and make bulk payments to their employees which meant that they would have to download an excel of all the payment details and upload it their banks. But now with the one click payment solution, an ABA file is fed into the system and payments are disbursed to the employees - completely digitising the payment experience with Payroo through Monoova's payment solutions tailored for payroll.

Thiya Reddy, Founder and CEO at Payroo, shares how they're enabling automated payroll payments for their customers, supported by Monoova's APIs.

Monoova's helped with operational efficiency quite a lot, one click payments and instant payments have reduced from being a process from over 2 days down to instant payments. I think we've pretty much use all of Monoova process and tools, we do real-time payments with PayTo, we're doing direct debit and we also use the PayID solution.

Over at Beyond, we're also doing bank validation through Monoova solutions so we're not just paying and disbursing salaries and wages we have a way of validating the bank accounts are right and employees can validate to make sure that its coming to the right bank account. Customer feedback has been overwhelming positive the employers love the fact that now they can securely and more reliably pay their employees with one click direct payments.

One of the key results we've seen is anybody who's shown interest and signed up for direct payments, 100% of them has used direct payments via Payroo.

Wise and Monoova: Unlocking the Future of Payments

"Without the API that Monoova provides, things like BPAY, direct debits, bank transfers, we would have to integrate and build all the componentry around it individually. With Monoova, we can just plug into 1 API and we can gain all that functionality. So there's a lot of cost saving in the go to market process for us rather than having to build all supporting infrastructure around those processes." Tristan Dakin, Country Manager, Australian & New Zealand explains how Monoova has been instrumental in providing the key payments infrastructure to send money internationally for their Australian clients.
